Guard the Vulnerable
For a lot of kids, a game lobby is where they're most alone — and most exposed. Grooming, harm, and quiet despair slip past because no one is watching the right moment.
Indigitous #HACK 2026 · Game Jam

A game-dev-led #HACK Game Jam where veteran game developers build, mentor, and judge alongside you — making things that reach the gaming world for good. For developers, artists, designers, writers, and audio folks. One Friday evening, one Saturday, one prototype that matters.
Go into gaming and preach the gospel to the players you already play with.
01 · The jam
For millions of people, a guild or a lobby is their most honest community. The North Texas Game Jam is a chance to build for them — a weekend where developers, artists, designers, writers, and audio creators ship a game or a tool that meets people right where they already play.
North Texas is full of people who have shipped real games — some still in the industry, some who built the games you grew up on — and who know both the craft and the culture. They’re in the room as your mentors and judges: every team demos to people who have shipped, and walks away with real, honest feedback — so what you build here is genuinely good, not just good-for-a-weekend. Pick a track, build with heart and craft, and let’s make something that matters.
02 · Call for code
Four tracks, one journey — from protecting the vulnerable, to opening the door to Jesus, to gathering real community, to sending it into the wider Kingdom and the local church. Choose one, form a team, and ship a prototype by judging night. This is your Mark 16:15.
For a lot of kids, a game lobby is where they're most alone — and most exposed. Grooming, harm, and quiet despair slip past because no one is watching the right moment.
Most gamers will never walk into a church — but they'll pour thousands of hours into games, servers, and streams. The gospel has to meet them there, woven in and never bolted on.
Christian gaming spaces are scattered, hard to find, and easy to outgrow. Believers need communities worth staying in — where they're discipled, mentored, and sent to serve other players with wisdom, truth, and love.
Gaming outreaches mostly work alone, and online relationships rarely cross into real life. The Kingdom goes further when they're linked — to each other, and to the local church.
03 · Imagine building
A weekend prototype, not a finished product. These fit the four tracks — start from one, or bring your own.
04 · The weekend
Compact enough to fit a busy life, long enough to ship something real. Prayer opens and closes the build — this is missions, not just a jam. Doors open at 6 PM Friday.
05 · Register
The date and the venue are locked. Registration opens shortly — join the SOVEREIGNify Discord and you’ll get the link the moment it goes live, along with the address.
Friday October 16 and Saturday October 17, 2026, in downtown McKinney, Texas, aligned with Indigitous's global #HACK October launch. Kickoff is 6 PM Friday. Registration is required and capacity is limited, so the exact street address goes out with your registration confirmation rather than being posted publicly.
Anyone who wants to build something good for the gaming world — developers, designers, artists, writers, and storytellers of every skill level. You do not need to be a professional or a Christian to participate; you just need to want to build.
Free. The room is capped so the mentoring stays real, and that cap counts volunteers and judges as well as builders — so there are fewer builder spots than the headline number suggests. Reserve early.
No. Come solo or bring friends — teams of two to four work best, and we help you form one at kickoff. Pick one of the four tracks and go.
Your laptop, charger, and whatever tools you build with. We provide the space, wifi, coffee, and pizza on judging night.
#HACK is a global initiative of Indigitous that rallies followers of Jesus to build practical solutions that close missional gaps. The North Texas Game Jam is the game-dev edition, championed by SOVEREIGNify. Projects can be submitted for inclusion in the official #HACK 2026.
